Music and Mixx is a live music and networking event in London for art lovers. The event is centered around African creativity and art with a message. We want to connect live music lovers and artists in a chill space that encourages creative expression.

Tolani & the Afro-Renaissance Art Ensemble (short bio):

Tolani is an Afrobeat artist from Nigeria. His style is a unique blend of afrobeat and hip hop music, laced with chants and smooth melodies that delivers very feel good vibes soaked in personal truth.

He collaborates with an African collective – with members in Nigeria, Canada and the UK – called the Afro-Renaissance art ensemble. Together the band was the only African band in the top 5 of Abbey Road Studios’ battle of the band contest (maiden edition).

Izzy Eze (short bio):

Izzy Eze is a British-Nigerian afro-fusion singer, songwriter and poet. With her aptitude for blending an array of genres including Afrobeats and R&B, as well as her musical influences from her heritage, she has been coined the ‘African Londoner’.

Izzy’s rich vocal range and poetic lyrics set her apart, having been spun on the likes of BBC Sounds, BBC3 Counties Radio, Kiss FM and Ben TV, to name a few. She has also performed solo sets on prominent stages including Omeara, Sofar London and the O2 Academy.
