Country Mile Festival – Helen Bauer & Sikisa (WIP)

Tue 20th Jul
7:30 pm - 8:45 pm
Country Mile Comedy Festival is bringing you 2 weeks of fresh work-in-progress shows from some of our favourite comedians!

About this event

Helen Bauer & Sikisa are teaming up for a not-to-be-missed double bill WIP!

HELEN BAUER

Helen is basic, well basic-plus because she is self-aware with it. Last year’s Best Newcomer nominee returns with an hour about self-confidence, self-esteem and self-care. It’s the year of ‘self’. Taking care of yourself has never been more ‘in’. Inspirational quotes and facemasks are a big industry and, like all her friends, Helen is trying to ‘be the change she wants to see’.

As seen and heard on BBC One, Dave, ITV2, Comedy Central and Radio 4.

“A personality that will fill a stadium… This girl will not be performing in small venues for much longer” ★★★★★ Sunday Express

SIKISA

Always doing the right thing, Sikisa is fed up being a good girl – she wants to be bad and cause trouble. Sikisa explores the brutal but funny truth about her life and herself as she remembers an epic house party. The real question is, are you also a seven?

As seen and heard on ITV, Channel 4, Comedy Central; CBBC and BBC Radio

Please note the following:

We are currently preparing our future gigs in line with the Roadmap restrictions announced in February 2021. We hope to be out of our socially distanced set-up by July, in line with the current roadmap but for now we are selling tickets in this setup, until we have confirmation otherwise. We will confirm the setup with ticket holders as soon as we know.

When buying tickets, please do not leave any empty seats – each table or section is now reserved for *maximum groups of 6 people*. Single tickets are available on request – just get in touch!

Last year’s requirement for a substantial meal to be served alongside alcohol will not be in place, and neither will a curfew. The requirement to order, eat and drink while seated (‘table service’) will remain.

ARRIVE AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE

Doors open at 7PM for a 7:30PM start – please arrive at the pub and take your seat downstairs as early as possible, to ensure a safe, socially distanced entry, and to reduce delays to the gig. All seats at the show have been reserved in advance to ensure social distancing, and you will be shown to your table / sofa upon arrival downstairs and presentation of your e-ticket.

FOLLOW SOCIAL DISTANCING GUIDELINES

Please follow social distancing guidelines throughout the venue – remain at least 1m apart from those not in your group and wear your mask when not sat down.

As it is no longer possible to queue and order at the bar, you will need to scan the QR code on your table upon arrival, to sign it to Track & Trace, and order food and drinks to your table, either online or through the pub’s app. You no longer need to order a substantial meal if you are ordering & drinking alcohol.

To keep everyone safe and to comply with the regulations regarding movement in pubs, audience members will be required to otherwise stay in their seat for the performance.

WEAR A MASK

In line with government guidelines, all audience members will be required to bring and wear a mask/face covering when not sat down.

Hand sanitiser will be available on the door but we suggest you also bring your own if possible.

Please note that we cannot admit individuals who are self-isolating, or anyone experiencing symptoms.

If you have any questions or concerns about the gig, please feel free to get in touch.
