Country Mile Festival – Fern Brady & Chloe Petts (WIP)
About this event
Fern Brady & Chloe Petts are teaming up for a not-to-be-missed double bill WIP!
FERN BRADY
A new WIP from Fern Brady, whose last show Power & Chaos is now available on BBC iPlayer.
As seen on Live at the Apollo; Frankie Boyle’s New World Order; Roast Battle; The Russell Howard Hour; Jonathan Ross’ Comedy Club; Live from the BBC. Co-Host of Wheel of Misfortune.
“Quick-witted acerbic stand up from someone who could soon be a household name” Skinny
“Top five young comedians to watch” Telegraph
CHLOE PETTS
Join Chloe Petts (as seen on Dave’s Hypothetical and Jonathan Ross’ Comedy Club) as she presents a load of new jokes on all manner of pertinent issues including the darts and loud snores on public transport. A show formerly known as Alpha, but curtailed by the pandemic, Chloe takes a look at her inability to enjoy anything because of an impending sense of doom that it will one day end (but funny).
“Petts… is confident, laid-back, casual – and very funny” The Guardian
“Inexhaustibly funny mind” Diva Magazine
“Compelling presence” Chortle
Please note the following:
We are currently preparing our future gigs in line with the Roadmap restrictions announced in February 2021. We hope to be out of our socially distanced set-up by July, in line with the current roadmap but for now we are selling tickets in this setup, until we have confirmation otherwise. We will confirm the setup with ticket holders as soon as we know.
When buying tickets, please do not leave any empty seats – each table or section is now reserved for *maximum groups of 6 people*. Single tickets are available on request – just get in touch!
Last year’s requirement for a substantial meal to be served alongside alcohol will not be in place, and neither will a curfew. The requirement to order, eat and drink while seated (‘table service’) will remain.
ARRIVE AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE
Doors open at 8:45PM for a 9PM start – please arrive at the pub and take your seat downstairs as early as possible, to ensure a safe, socially distanced entry, and to reduce delays to the gig. All seats at the show have been reserved in advance to ensure social distancing, and you will be shown to your table/sofa upon arrival downstairs and presentation of your e-ticket.
FOLLOW SOCIAL DISTANCING GUIDELINES
Please follow social distancing guidelines throughout the venue – remain at least 1m apart from those not in your group and wear your mask when not sat down.
As it is no longer possible to queue and order at the bar, you will need to scan the QR code on your table upon arrival, to sign it to Track & Trace, and order food and drinks to your table, either online or through the pub’s app. You no longer need to order a substantial meal if you are ordering & drinking alcohol.
To keep everyone safe and to comply with the regulations regarding movement in pubs, audience members will be required to otherwise stay in their seat for the performance.
WEAR A MASK
In line with government guidelines, all audience members will be required to bring and wear a mask/face covering when not sat down.
Hand sanitiser will be available on the door but we suggest you also bring your own if possible.
Please note that we cannot admit individuals who are self-isolating, or anyone experiencing symptoms.
If you have any questions or concerns about the gig, please feel free to get in touch.
